Gospel text
Lk 16:19-31
“There was a rich man who (...) dined sumptuously each day. And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man’s table."
Gospel's Commentary
Today we listen to one of Jesus’ parables. It is a good warning! We are too often distracted with too many things that do not let us look into the heart of our brothers and sisters. Too much fun and too little charity! We are all brothers, we are all children of God and a good Christian must learn to share. -It is not evil to go out and party, but do not allow your days to become a continuous “festival”. That way leads you to nowhere. What one sows in this life is what one takes with him to the afterlife.
