Liturgical day: Thursday 5th of Easter

Gospel text (Jn 15,9-11): «As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; remain in my love». Jesus said to his disciples, «As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; remain in my love. You will remain in my love if you keep my commandments, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in his love. I have told you all this, that my own joy may be in you and your joy may be complete».

Today we see the immense love Jesus has for us: He loves us as much as the Father loves his eternal Son. It is an infinite love! Jesus Christ rightly asks us to remain within His love: it is the best of man's life. And this can be costly at times, but the path is clear: to follow Jesus’ steps.

— My parents, my brothers love me very, very much. But the Love of God is Love with a capital letter. He has given us life and, at the same time, gave His Life for us.
