Liturgical day: Trinity Sunday (A)

Gospel text (Jn 3,16-18): Jesus said to Nicodemus: «God so loved the world that He gave his only Son that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but may have eternal life». At that time, Jesus said to Nicodemus: «God so loved the world that He gave his only Son that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but may have eternal life. God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world; instead, through him the world is to be saved. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned. He who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the Name of the only Son of God».

Today, St. John speaks to us of God's infinite love. He loves us so much that He has sent His eternal Son to the World, and has revealed to us His own "family intimacy." Now we know that God is not a solitary being; He Himself is Three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

— What a great and precious mystery! Three Persons in one only God. Because ... if He was not "Three," how could He be Love? (To love, you need at least "Another one".
