Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time (B)
Gospel text
Mk 4,26-34
“This is how it is with the kingdom of God; it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land and would sleep and rise night and day and through it all the seed would sprout and grow, he knows not how. Of its own accord the land yields fruit, first the blade..."
Gospel's Commentary
Today, Jesus explains how our life is born and grows. God is the sower that has created us with a “heart” reinforced with the seed of the Baptism. God is also the good soil in which the seed grows. And with the growth of love the fruits come: a family and a job that enrich the world... —I am a very small "seed", meant to be a great "tree".
