Gospel text
Lk 7, 36—8, 3
And it happened that a woman of this town, who was known as a sinner, heard that He was in the Pharisee's house. She brought a precious jar of perfume and stood behind him at his feet, weeping. She wet his feet with tears, she dried them with her hair and kissed his feet and poured the perfume on them.
Gospel's Commentary
Today we are touched by the tenderness of Jesus. He was invited by a Pharisee to have a meal… Everyone murmurs about what that woman does (Mary Magdalene) and about what Jesus allows her to do to him… —Jesus is happy! Later on, Mary Magdalene will be the first person to see Jesus resurrected. If you want to find Jesus, tend to Jesus!
