Jesus speaks to the Sadducees about the resurrection: God is “God of the living”

Today, the Sadducees are bothering the Master again. The fact they bring up is ridiculous: a woman had had 7 husbands because they died one after another without leaving children ... (have you ever seen a 7 time’s widow?). Final question: “Whose wife will that woman be? “ Don’t you think it's a stupid question? Those Sadducees were very lost. This is what happens when you do not have the final hope of the resurrection: nothing is worth it! - Let’s ask a more interesting question: if there is no resurrection then… what kind of God do we have? The answer of Jesus: “He is not God of the dead, but of the living.”
