When the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. “It is a ghost,” they said, and they cried out in fear. At once Jesus spoke to them, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
Gospel's Commentary
Today, after attending to the people, Jesus remains on the ground praying, praying, and praying ... The Apostles have taken the boat. Later on, late at night, the Lord goes toward them. By walking! Simon Peter, whom Jesus has called, is also able to walk on the waters. But when the wind starts to blow, he becomes frightened ... and he begins to sink.
"Does it also happen to you?" Man of little faith! If we should learn to affirm like the Apostles, "truly you are the Son of God"...
