Gospel text (Mt 9,27-31):
As Jesus moved on from Capernaum, two blind men followed him, shouting, «Son of David, help us!».
As Jesus moved on from Capernaum, two blind men followed him, shouting, «Son of David, help us!». When he was about to enter the house, the blind men caught up with him, and Jesus said to them, «Do you believe that I am able to do what you want?». They answered, «Yes, sir!».
Then Jesus touched their eyes and said, «As you have believed, so let it be». And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus gave them a stern warning, «Be careful and let no one know about this». But as soon as they went away, they spread the news about him through the whole area.

Today we see Jesus restoring sight to two blind men. What a great reward! Can you imagine it? The very same thing has God made for us through Christmas: He was born and lived with us, by telling us many things about His life we would have never known otherwise. The most important one: in God we find three Persons (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).
-Jesus now asks us to have faith in His Word. To the blind men He asked: "Do you believe that I am able to do this?” And to you: do you trust Me?
Merry Christmas and happy new year 2021 in the Lord God
