Gospel text
Mk 9:14-29
“Teacher, I have brought to you my son possessed by a mute spirit. Wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive it out, but they were unable to do so.”
Gospel's Commentary
Today we can picture a scene that makes us shudder; it even scares us. A child possessed by the devil! Several times the "unclean spirit" had tried to kill the child throwing him into the fire. -My God! He is just a child! Tortured by the devil! What evil had this child done? The only response we have is that we have to pray for the children, for the brothers... Pray every day, always!
