Gospel text (Mt 11:25-27):
At that time Jesus exclaimed: “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike..."
At that time Jesus exclaimed: “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal him.”

Today Jesus communicates to us a great "secret": if you want to have faith, become small. To believe in God, the first thing is to position ourselves: who am I? Only God is God! and I recognize that I am limited. Certainly, we are intelligent, but we are also...very limited. When man does not believe in God, man invents a "god", or proclaims himself "as a god."
-Jesus is God who has become small. Will you not make yourself small before Him? The logical thing is for me to recognize my smallness while proclaiming the greatness of God. Is it not so?
