A man came up to Jesus, knelt down before him, and said, "Lord, have pity on my son, who is a lunatic and suffers severely."
Gospel's Commentary
Today, the Gospel transmits us a very important detail that knee sometimes goes unnoticed. That man met Jesus Christ by kneeling. In certain areas, it is not fashionable to "kneel down". How curious! We have lost this healthy habit, exclusive to humans. In fact, man is never so much a man as when he kneels.
-Conclusion: that father got immediately what he asked for when he was on his knees. Of course, when we treat God as God, then we allow God to act as God.
