Gospel text (Lk 11:27-28):
While Jesus was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed.” He replied, “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”

Today an exultant woman cheers the "mother" of Jesus: through sheer enthusiasm! He, with a more calm tone, seems to delay the situation... Actually, Jesus Christ gets to the point: He praises the docility to the will of God. And in this matter Holy Mary is unbeatable. No one knows God’s heart like Her. No one has identified with the Will of God like Her
- "I am the handmaid of the Lord": this answer runs through our history and is transforming the destiny of humanity.
