Gospel text
Mt 22:1-14
"The kingdom of heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. He dispatched his servants to summon the invited guests to the feast, but they refused to come. A second time he sent other servants, saying, 'Tell those invited: "Behold, I have prepared my banquet, my calves and fattened cattle are killed, and everything is ready; come to the feast."'
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus introduces us to the "God-beggar". Yes, God begging our love to take us with Him. So much begging ... and in the end He ended up on the Cross made a beggar. And on the Cross, Jesus asks the Father to forgive those men so difficult to "conquer". - Since the day of the Cross, Heaven is on "sales". Look at Dismas, the "good thief": he knew how to take advantage of the "sales"!
