Gospel text (Lk 21:29-33): Jesus told his disciples a parable. “Consider the fig tree and all the other trees. When their buds burst open, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near." Jesus told his disciples a parable. “Consider the fig tree and all the other trees. When their buds burst open, you see for yourselves and know that summer is now near; in the same way, when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near. Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away."

Today we are asking Jesus: what are the "buds" that will allow us to have a foretaste of the Kingdom of God? The truth is that the Son of God became man through incarnation more than 2,000 years ago and founded the Church we now can see quite alive and spread all over the five continents. That's how it is!

—We will soon initiate the time of Advent, on our way to Christmas. We will celebrate again that Jesus was born and... how His love can be felt! This is His Kingdom!
