They came to Capernaum and, once inside the house, he began to ask them, “What were you arguing about on the way?” But they remained silent. They had been discussing among themselves on the way who was the greatest.
Gospel's Commentary
Today Jesus Christ announces, for the first time, His passion, death and resurrection. Did his disciples comprehend Him? It does not seem so! After the crucifixion they did not expect Jesus’ resurrection. They had not heard Him! Even though the Lord had been repeating it, time and again.
