Dear friend, Today at family.evangeli.net, we're launching an exciting new feature: the TRIVIA quizzes on the “History of the Church through the Saints.” It's a project we've prepared with enthusiasm and will continue to develop over the coming years. History is a teacher... And if you want to see the “hand of God,” beyond faith, there's nothing better than the History of the Church, particularly through the lives of its saints. Each saint in our liturgical calendar will have their own quiz (about 10 questions), in addition to the puzzle of their image. The questions themselves have historical content, but the greatest added value is found in the brief explanation that accompanies the correct answers. Additionally, for each century, we add some concise notes showing the general historical context of each era. This project is very labor-intensive, as it covers the entire History of the Church. Therefore, we're starting with a selection of saints from the 1st century and will continue adding quizzes until we reach the 21st century. In a second phase, we'll add quizzes of more and more saints for each century. We'll keep you promptly informed of all the new developments. You can now participate and test your knowledge, here! Oh, and before tackling each quiz, we recommend reading the commentary from family.evangeli.net about the saint it's dedicated to, looking at their image, and paying attention to the accompanying title (a link before each quiz will guide you to this information). We appreciate your prayers for this great project. Warm regards, The evangeli.net Team |
