Today, we praise God not only for the wonders performed by Him, but for the beauty and goodness of His Being. We contemplate the very deepest reality of His "Heart": the Unity in the Trinity of Divine Persons; an excellent and deep communion of love and life.

God is One, for He is all and only Love. Therefore, God is openness, acceptance, dialogue… The mysterious God is not an infinite loneliness; He is an event of Love. In Him an "I" and a "You" do exist: the Son who speaks to the Father, and they are both One in the Spirit, which is the "atmosphere" of giving and loving which makes Them the one and only God.

—In your "opening", Triune God, you have given yourself "to" and "for" men: the Father, who bestows us with He whom He loves more; the Son, stripped of all His glory in order to surrender to us; and the Spirit, who leaves the peace of the divine embrace to flood the deserts of humanity.
