Dear friend, Happy Resurrection Easter: We are sending you in advance the Saints calendar (April-May) edited by evangeli.net. The saints are a convincing proof of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ: were it not for the true resurrection of the Lord, the Apostles would not have begun to universally proclaim the "Good News," nor would there be a logical explanation for the exemplary presentation of so many saints who embellish the face of the Church. Among the projects of evangeli.net there is a permanent one: to gradually expand the comments of the Gospel from the Saints calendar.
April 23rd: George, martyr 25th: Mark, evangelist 26th: Isidore, bishop and doctor of the Church 27th: The Virgin of Montserrat 29th: St. Catherine of Siena, Virgin & Doctor of the Church
May 2nd: St. Athanasius , bishop and doctor of the Church 3rd: Philip and James, apostles 13th: Our Lady of Fátima 14th: Saint Matthias, apostle 31st: Visitation
The publication of our commentaries for the celebration of a saint is performed as follows: • If a saint is celebrated throughout the Church as a feast or solemnity (eg, the Annunciation), then the comment appears in the home of our website (or in the mail that you receive). • If the celebration of a saint has the status of liturgical memory, then evangeli.net publishes the comment of the day according to the liturgical time of the day (Lent, Easter, …) The homily referred to the saint of the day can be accessed through the link Saints. Through our PERPETUAL CALENDAR (Feasts and Proper of Saints) you can access any time the commentary of the celebration of the saints already registered.
We thank you for your attention. Greetings from the evangeli.net Team. |
