Faith with achievements

Today, Christ speaks to us about the vital character of faith, which does not consist in simply accepting certain theoretical axioms (or beliefs), but it is a "seed" of life within us. A seed!: something small, but alive, that must undergo a life-long journey of growth.

Our faith is not a theory, but an event: an encounter with the living God. Faith in Jesus means, certainly, "knowledge", but a knowledge "implicating" us too. Faith goes from the word to the idea, but it must always move back from the idea to the word and to achievement. Faith cannot be demonstrated: it implies a life change, and only he who changes welcomes it. It is a change we must go through every day.

—Knowing you, Jesus, is a gift: God is coming for me. Help me to be able to correspond to the demands this gift imply: to believe in You, I must walk alongside with You.
