Logos creates "diá-logos"

Today, Jesus —who is the "Logos" (the Word) of God— is fraternally hosted in the House of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. Lack of brotherhood is a major impediment for true integral human development. As society becomes ever more globalized, it makes us "neighbors", but does not make us "brothers". Reason, by itself, is capable of grasping the equality between men and of giving stability to their civic coexistence, but it cannot establish fraternity.

Fraternity originates in a transcendent vocation from God the Father, who loved us first, teaching us through the Son what fraternal charity is. In the present social and cultural context, where there is a widespread tendency to relativize truth, adhering to the values of Christianity is essential for building a good society. Truth, in fact, is "logos" which creates "diá-logos" and, hence, communication and communion.

—O Lord, Ultimate Truth, open and join together the intellect of human beings in the logic of love.
